These Terms govern your use of the InterviewRise mobile application and related services. By using InterviewRise, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s applicable Standard End User License Agreement.

1. About InterviewRise

InterviewRise provides AI-assisted interview preparation tools, including tailored mock interview questions, optional CV and job-description document import, audio and video practice, transcription, scoring, feedback, suggested answer improvements, final interview reports, presentation and delivery analysis, and locally saved completed reports.

2. Not professional advice

InterviewRise is an interview-practice tool only. Its generated questions, scores and feedback are informational and educational in nature and do not guarantee employment, interview success, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy or suitability of any particular answer.

3. Your content

You may provide or import CV/résumé content, job descriptions, interview answers, recordings and other materials. If you choose document import, the selected document is processed to extract readable text for interview preparation. You retain responsibility for the content you submit and must have the right to use and provide it. Do not submit unlawful material or information you are not authorised to share.

4. AI-generated content

AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions or inappropriate suggestions. You should review generated questions, extracted document text, transcripts, scores, feedback, final interview reports, and presentation and delivery analysis before relying on them. These outputs are intended for interview preparation only and should not be treated as a prediction of hiring decisions or employment outcomes.

5. Free access and rewarded ads

InterviewRise may provide limited free access, including one free interview question. Eligible free users may also be offered the option to watch one rewarded advertisement to unlock an additional question. Reward availability may vary and is not guaranteed.

6. InterviewRise Pro

InterviewRise Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. The subscription currently renews weekly and unlocks premium features including full 7-question mock interviews, unlimited interview question sets, retries, detailed AI-assisted scoring and feedback, video and audio practice, a final Interview Report after completing all seven questions, Presentation & Delivery analysis where video responses are provided, and an ad-free experience.

The subscription price shown in the app and App Store at the time of purchase applies. Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled through your Apple account settings before the end of the current subscription period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account. Deleting InterviewRise does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Completed interview reports that have already been saved locally on your device may remain accessible after your Pro subscription ends. Creating a new full interview report requires active Pro access. Saved reports are stored locally on the device and are not automatically synced between devices.

7. Restore Purchases

Where available, you may use Restore Purchases in InterviewRise to restore eligible purchases associated with the Apple ID originally used to subscribe.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use InterviewRise for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes;
attempt to bypass usage limits, payment controls, rewarded-ad limits or security measures;
interfere with the operation, security or availability of the Service;
reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
submit or import content that infringes another person’s rights.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical or product reasons. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information, including imported documents, is described in the InterviewRise Privacy Policy.

11. Apple terms

If you download InterviewRise through Apple’s App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, except to the extent a different agreement is validly made applicable.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewRise is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian consumer law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be changed when revisions are made. Continued use of InterviewRise after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
